History Fading
$155.00 CAD
Historic wooden grain elevator on the verge of collapse, at the ghost town of Dankin, Saskatchewan.
The wooden grain elevator played a crucial role in the early days of industrial agriculture in North America. These sentinels served as the social and economic hub of hundreds of communities, and grew to become iconic symbols of the prairies. Over the decades, these structures have faded from the landscape, becoming replaced by larger, concrete elevators and inland terminals.
Add this prairie character to your walls, and you'll be helping to protect the wild places and species of Saskatchewan. Matt is proud to work in partnership with the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, and will be directing 15% of all proceeds from sales of this print to supporting vital conservation activities here on the prairies.
